Latin is the study of the Latin language and of Roman history and culture.  In all grades, we are currently undertaking a foundational study of the cases through the lens of the first declension, and have begun working with verbs of the first conjugation.  Latin 6 and Latin 7 are also building arch-bridges with clay.

Social Studies is an amalgam of history, geography and political science.  Our current topic is the years between the two world wars (1918-1939).  Our focus is on the social, cultural and environmental changes of the period, particularly in Canada.

French is the study of the French language and French-speaking culture.
